Salon Client Record Card: What to Track After Every Appointment
What to write on a client record card for lash, nail, brow and waxing services, so every repeat visit is faster and safer.
Why record cards matter
A consent form covers the first visit. A record card covers every visit after it. When a client says 'same as last time', or reports a reaction weeks later, the card is how you know exactly what you used.

Lash Tech Client Forms Kit
11 fillable lash forms (consent, patch test, lash map, aftercare, refill log) plus an Excel client tracker.
Get it →What to log every visit
- Date and service
- Products, colors, adhesive or wax type
- Settings: curl, length, processing time, temperature
- Patch test date and result, if one was done
- Any reaction, sensitivity or change in health the client mentioned
- Price paid and next appointment
Ask about changes each time
Medication, pregnancy, new skin treatments and allergies change between visits. A quick 'anything new since last time?' and a tick box on the card shows you asked.
Paper or digital
Either works if it's consistent and stored securely. Many solo techs keep printed cards in a locked file box and photograph them to a private cloud folder as a backup.
