Wedding Vendor Payment Schedule: Track Deposits and Final Balances
How to track wedding vendor deposits, balances and due dates so nothing surprises you in the final month.
Why a payment schedule beats a budget alone
A budget tells you what the wedding costs. A payment schedule tells you when the money leaves your account. Many final balances land in the last 2 to 4 weeks, which is when couples get caught short.

- Vendor name and contact
- Total contract price
- Deposit amount and date paid
- Remaining payments and due dates
- Final balance due date
- Payment method and confirmation number
- Cancellation or refund terms
Build a month-by-month view
List every due date in one column and add a running total by month. If one month is too heavy, ask vendors early whether a payment can move. It's much easier to ask at booking than three weeks out.

Confirm each final amount in writing, plan tips and cash envelopes, and decide who hands them out on the day.
